Allyson LeMay is a contemporary abstract artist who has been painting since she was a little girl. As the daughter of an accomplished artist in Nashville, Allyson learned to cultivate and develop her artistic style organically from surrounding art influences, including her mother.

Allyson received her Bachelor of Fine Art from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. After working for two advertising agencies both in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee, she decided to leave the corporate world to pursue her own career as an independent artist. Allyson works primarily with acrylics, but will often incorporate other mediums such as oil pastels into her artwork. Many of her paintings encompass bold colorful patterns as well as intricate imagery.
