Danny Trent is an abstract painter working in acrylics and occasionally mixed media. His newest body of work uses color, line, form, and texture to convey an impression of physical images of a places, events in history, or fictional influences.

He applies paint using encrusted housepainting brushes and then scrapes the surface. This process of painting and scraping is repeated until the desired results are achieved.

Danny studied art education at Richard Bland College and painting and printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the U.S. and is included in private collections.
