Kathryn Mueller was born in San Antonio, Tex., and has lived in the Washington, D.C., area and in Europe. She has lived in the Richmond area for the past 38 years. As the owner of Corporate Travel Consultants, she traveled extensively with corporate and meetings groups in the U.S., the Caribbean, and Europe.

After retiring, she took her first courses in Fused Glass/Warm Glass at the Visual Arts Center, and then expanded her knowledge and techniques with courses at Arrowmont Arts Camp, Warm Glass studios in North Carolina, Vitrum Studios in Maryland, and Weisser Glass in Washington.

Her work includes custom windows (in vintage window frames), serving pieces, objects d'art for unique decor, and even custom kitchen tiles. Glass creations offer an opportunity for one-of-a-kind, personalized treasures.
