Mary Alice Shaker has been an art teacher and educator for more than four decades. She has an undergraduate and graduate degree in art education and postgraduate study at The  College of William and Mary, Goucher College, and Virginia Commonwealth University. Mary Alice is a member of the Virginia Art Education Association and the National Art Education Association.
