Meredith Hayes started out as a child drawing site plans of her fantasy horse farms during the days that The Black Stallion book series was popular. This matured into sketching rooms in her home for fun. Architecture into art form has carried Meredith to a career as an interior designer, graduating with a BFA in interior design from Virginia Commonwealth University and owning her own business, Reflections Interior Design.
Sketching architecture in pen and ink combines her background in art with a love for structure. The ink is an easily controlled medium which allows the personality of the owner and the style of the house to come through as the ink takes to paper. Each drawing is a labor of love.
