GROUP ART ADVENTURES LED BY HOLLY MARKHOFF

Adults, children, teens, and family groups — choose your group and let Holly create the art adventure! Create an original piece of art on canvas or board and while enjoying a social party atmosphere. Mixed media art technique instruction and guided process. No experience is necessary. All supplies are provided. Special pricing is available for groups of 12 or more. This art party is 3 hours, including 1 hour of class time.

 

Cost: $45 per student, with a minimum of 6 students (limited to 20 participants)

Guidelines for Art Parties

SETUP, EVENT TIME, CLEANUP

Allotted event time of 3 hours includes 30-minute setup and 30-minute cleanup time. If you need more time for setup or cleanup, consult with the event instructor. All cleanup must be completed by end of allotted time; please reserve at least 30 minutes before the event ends to clean the space.

HOW TO ENHANCE YOUR PARTY

Bring anything you like to make the party more fun: refreshments, utensils, plates/cups, decorations, party gifts, etc. The sky is the limit!

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

If you plan to serve any type of alcoholic beverages, you nust apply to the Virginia ABC Board for a one-time banquet license. Apply at least 10 days prior to your event (per Virginia ABC regulations, Crossroads Art Center cannot apply for the license). Apply online at www.abc.virginia.gov. Once you've logged on to the ABC website, click SPECIAL EVENT LICENSE > Apply online for your banquet license here. If you do not have a login ID and a password, click on REGISTER and follow the instructions. When completing the application, check "Banquet" and fill in sections 1, 2, 3, and 7. If you need to apply for the license in person, the ABC regional office is at 2901 Hermitage Road in Richmond; telephone 804.213.4620 or 804.213.4624.
