Six-weekend course:

June 29–30, July 27–28, August 24–25, September 21–22, October 19–20, and November 16–17, 2019

In June 2019, the professionals at Diversity Permaculture are pleased to offer the internationally recognized permaculture design course (PDC). Over the course of six weekend educational experiences, participants will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities they need to advance in the emerging practice area of permaculture enabling them to reach both professional and personal goals related to working in unison with nature. Join leading permaculture experts as you get your hands dirty with practical hands on experience and open your consciousness to new environments with relevant field trips. This certificate program provides learners with an in-depth understanding of the “permaculture state of mind” in an everchanging landscape. Don’t miss this life-changing program! Classes fill up fast.

Topics: Patterns in Nature, Water Systems, Garden Design, Structures Design, Food Production Systems, Energy and Community Resilience, Urban Permaculture, and more!

Fee: $1,200 per student for 10 students. If enrollment reaches 15, the class fee is $1,000 per student. Enrollment is limited to 15 students. A scholarship is available for a deserving needy student.

Registration and Refund Policies for Classes and Workshops

Registration Guidelines

  • Full payment must accompany registration and is nonrefundable.
  • Class fees will not be prorated for any reason.
  • Payment must be made by cash, check, or credit card (a 5% convenience fee will be added for credit card transactions).
  • Late registrations are welcome with space available and permission of the instructor.
  • Unless otherwise noted, classes are open to participants age 16 and older.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Crossroads Art Center or the course instructor reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment five to seven days prior to the first scheduled class.
  • A full refund is provided if Crossroads Art Center or the instructor cancels a class.
  • Crossroads Art Center does not issue credit vouchers for class withdrawals.

 

Crossroads Art Center may occasionally provide a substitute course instructor. This is decided with a recommendation from the scheduled instructor to ensure the quality of the class.
