Crossroads Art Center's 25,000 square feet in Richmond's West End is a unique backdrop for a special event. Guests enjoy an artsy, fun atmosphere. Crossroads is perfect for corporate or educational events, birthday celebrations, baby and bridal showers, family reunions, or wedding receptions.
The Rhoda MacCallum Gallery is Crossroads' largest event space at 2,500 square feet and will hold up to 150 guests for a party and 80 for a seated dinner. Classrooms One and Two are spaces that are suitable for smaller events (showers, birthday parties, meetings) during the day or evening. The classrooms can hold up to 100 guests with theater-style seating or 60 guests at tables with chairs. Crossroads also has other areas available, including individual gallery spaces. Staff is happy to assist in designing the best arrangement for events of any size.
Most events at Crossroads are self-catered. Any event may be catered at Crossroads in accordance with the established guidelines. Click here for a list of preferred vendors. Please note that Crossroads is not an event-planning service; for in-depth assistance, inquire with recommended area planners.
ART ON DISPLAY
The art on display throughout the center adds to the guests' experience of the event. Guests are allowed to tour the entire art center and view all of the artwork. Guests may also purchase any item through our on-duty staff.
LOCATION AND PARKING
Crossroads Art Center is located in Crossroads Shopping Center near the intersection of Staples Mill Road and Broad Street. For directions, click here. Hundreds for free parking spaces are available in front of the building; the building and parking facilities are handicapped-accessible.
SETUP, CLEANUP, RESTRICTIONS
Music and DJs are permitted after regular business hours. Ceiling and wall decorations are not allowed. No confetti or bubbles due to potential damage to hanging artwork. Renters are responsible for wiping down tables and sweeping/mopping as necessary. All trash must be placed in the dumpsters behind Crossroads.

RHODA MACCALLUM GALLERY + SIDECAR GALLERY
The Rhoda MacCallum Gallery and Sidecar Gallery combine to create Crossroads' largest rental space at 2,500 square feet. The space will hold up to 150 guests for a reception and 80 guests for a seated dinner. This space is available for events after 6:00 p.m. Tables and chairs are provided, including up to five 60'' round tables with 8 white chairs per table. Additional seating up to 24 chairs is available at 6' and 8' tables. Includes use of kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, and convection oven.
6:00–9:00 p.m., $600
Additional hours until midnight are charged @ $200 per hour
6:00 p.m.–midnight, $1,200
After midnight, the overtime rate is $200 per half-hour.

CLASSROOM ONE
Classroom One has a maximum capacity of 60 guests for a shower or party. Maximum capacity for a business function is 100 guests (with no tables). Classroom One may be rented during or after business hours. Tables and chairs are provided if available (up to nine 6', five 4', and six 8' rectangular tables; and 60 metal chairs).

Classroom Two has a maximum capacity of 30 guests for a shower or party. Classroom Two may be rented during or after business hours. Tables and chairs are provided if available (up to ten 6' and one 4' rectangular tables; one stationary 5x8' banquet table; and 30 metal chairs).
