Suzanne Jepson is a native of the suburbs of Philadelphia and now resides in Midlothian, Virginia. At a very early age, she attended classes at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, where she discovered that art would become her lifelong love. As a naval officer’s wife, she had the opportunity to take art classes at the Bishop Museum while living in Hawaii and from various local artists located in the cities where her husband was assigned. She continued painting intermittently while raising a family and working. Now retired, she paints full-time and takes classes at the Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia; Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia; University of Richmond, Richmond, Virginia; and Brazier Gallery in Richmond, Virginia. She exhibits at Crossroads Art Center and Independence Golf Course in Powhatan, Virginia.
